Area of Games is a gaming company that unites top industry professionals in video game, mobile game, and board game development and publishing, aiming to create a seamless entertainment ecosystem.
We are looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join our partner studio gaming project in the mid-core segment, specializing in hero collection mechanics. This role involves building the analytics function from scratch, laying the foundation for data-driven decision-making, designing event tracking systems, monitoring key metrics, formulating hypotheses, and later optimizing the project's performance and live operations.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?
Select and implement a suitable analytics system together with the development team.
Design and implement event tracking based on new feature releases for efficient data collection and analysis.
Participate in feature development by defining event tracking requirements and hypotheses before implementation.
Plan and conduct A/B tests to optimize user engagement and monetization.
Work with dashboards (creating, updating, and improving dashboards within the selected analytics system).
After the MVP release and soft launch, analyze project performance, generate analytical reports, identify growth opportunities, and suggest improvements.
Contribute to the development of internal data collection, storage, and analysis systems.
What kind of professional are we looking for?
Strong SQL skills, ability to write queries efficiently and accurately.
Understanding of statistical analysis and probability theory.
Experience with analytics systems (Redash, Periscope, Looker, Tableau, Firebase, Appsflyer, etc.) in terms of event integration, dashboard creation, and data analysis.
Knowledge of key metrics and monetization models in modern F2P games.
Understanding of F2P audience segmentation and monetization strategies.
Understanding of predictive modeling.
Nice to Have
Basic knowledge of Python or R.
Experience working on a live game project (LiveOps) for at least one year.
Familiarity with external analytics services (DevToDev, Game Analytics).
Experience applying machine learning models (linear models, decision tree-based methods, kNN).
